SCAM INCOMING: Arrest Warrant for Democrat Issued
Remember, there is always a scam with these Republicans currently running the government. You just have to find it.
Amid calls for such action by various Republican officeholders, House Speaker Dade Phelan has signed a civil arrest warrant for state Rep. Philip Cortez, D-San Antonio, the House Democrat who returned to Washington, D.C. over the weekend after having left the nation's capital to try and negotiate the elections bill.
The warrant is not a criminal warrant, meaning Cortez will not be thrown in jail. The civil arrest warrant is designed to bring lawmakers back into the House chamber so they can get to a quorum and conduct business. On the first day the quorum was officially broken, Phelan had the Sergeant-at-Arms lock the doors and request law enforcement search, arrest, and bring in missing members.
Of course CBS glosses over the fact that Abbott and Phelan lied about the plans to arrest the Democrats for days, with Patriot Kyle Biedermann exposing the hoax that there were never any arrest warrants up until now.
I said nobody would face any consequences, and that both sides would use this hoax to solidify their own power in different ways.
You can see this scam coming from a mile away.
Oh boy, he’s scared now
It’s been 18 days since the special session began. They could have locked the doors on day 1, but again, this is the Great Screw Job Session of 2021.
Phelan also issued the fakest statement in the history of politics.
House Speaker Phelan provided the following statement:
“Rep. Cortez returned to the Texas Capitol of his own volition and represented to me and his fellow members that he wanted to work on policy and find solutions to bring his colleagues back to Texas. As a condition of being granted permission to temporarily leave the House floor, Rep. Cortez promised his House colleagues that he would return. Instead, he fled the state and has irrevocably broken my trust and the trust of this chamber. ”
Dade Phelan’s trust is worth about as much as a Covid vaccine injected into your nuts.
This is all part of the plan. Democrats will raise money off of this and further their narrative that they are the great heroes of this new emerging civil right — the right to steal elections from racists.
Sadly, many Republican voters will clap like seals when someone is fake-arrested for a photo-op, despite nothing positive coming from such an event.
Republicans will once again the trade short term gain of tricking their voting base that they are hardcore “owning the libs” with arrest warrants for a long term win by Democrats by creating another “civil rights hero” in the fight for the right to cheat.
The Great Reset of the 2022 Republican Primaries can’t come soon enough.
