Go Home, American Airlines, You're Drunk
Back in September, American Airlines added an optional Black Lives Matter pin to its uniform. A spokesperson advised that the pin was "not political."
Six months later, American Airlines has no qualms about jumping deeper into Leftist politics. It has no choice, it must do it. "As a Texas-based business, we must stand up for the rights of our team members and customers who call Texas home," wrote the brave company which is walking lock-step with every other major corporation in America and which is in massive debt to the same people who control those other corporations.
Although this sentiment is sure to play well with oligarchs making loans, it has definitely ticked off more than half of its customers. But does that matter? Not to CEO W. Doug Parker.
Doug likes his PR statements to be made the way he likes to drive: fast and drunk. We at Current Revolt have some advice for the CEO who has been convicted three times of DUI and served 24 hours in jail to prove it.
Doug, put the bottle down, put the media account to sleep, stay out of politics, and get sober. Come back when you are ready to focus on planes and currying customers, and when you are sober enough to realize that simple measures to standardize voting practices is not something you need to concern yourself with.
