The Curious Case of Steve Kuzmich

A candidate recently showed up on my radar who is opposing Beth Van Duyne for the race in CD24. Steve Kuzmich, who is running as an independent in the general election. He is joined by another independent, a gentleman named Mark Bauer, as well as Darren Hamilton representing the Lolbertarians.

What caught my eye about Steve’s campaign was two things. First, he’s running against Current Revolt-endorsed Beth “Mommy” Van Duyne (hit me up, Beth. my contact info is on the staff page.) The second thing is how Steve is billing himself as a candidate. He says he’s “fiscally conservative and socially moderate.”

This is curious because this is how Libertarians often introduce themselves to the politically uninitiated. People are sometimes intrigued by this ostensible “third position” until they realize Libertarians are actually just a bunch of drug using weirdos with an ideology so stupid that no society has even been willing to try it.

In some of his ads he substituted “socially moderate” with “socially tolerant.” These seem to be two very different things. “Socially moderate” implies you have some kind of boundaries for what you deem is acceptable for society to promote. “Socially tolerant” is what the ruling elites are want us to be, which means, basically, on a long enough timeline anything goes.

What does this mean in practice? Fiscally conservative and socially tolerant?

It’s going to balance the budget

In fact, such a person and platform already exists.

Steve also has some hilarious commercials.

In this one it’s implied that he can appeal to both the effeminate beta male and affluent white female liberal demographics, which would give you a majority vote in many districts in America.

This one is sort of funny. However, most of the comedy lies in the extreme genericness of the name Steve.

In this one, he makes the claim that American history is filled with “normal people” who have been involved in extraordinary things and that many of those people have been named “Steve.” I’m pretty sure that’s considered “promoting white supremacy” in 2020 America.

His entire bit is that he’s a “normal guy.” He also says he’s a “small businessman.” The truth is, he’s actually a lawyer. Not only are lawyers not “normal guys,” they’re not even people. They’re simply creatures that have memorized all the scams and loopholes in our legal system. Actually, a robot in a suit on adderall is more closely related, genetically speaking, to a lawyer than a human.

Why am I highlighting this guy when he has no chance to win?

I showed this candidate to a friend of mine who is a certified hardcore centrist. He was surprised at the production value of the commercials. He then stated he didn’t even believe he was a real candidate, and that he “didn’t believe anyone or anything was real anymore.” He said he just assumes things like this are fake, paid for by the same special interests that fund both parties in order to serve some kind of alternative agenda.

To me, this actually seems very probable as a general rule. When you look at voting patterns from 2016, you will see that there is literally zero support for “fiscally conservative, socially moderate.”

If you are surprised by this, it’s because you’ve been lied to by the media who say this is what people want. There is a massive conspiracy among all politically-oriented media that are allowed to operate freely without censorship. Their goals are two fold:

The first is to push people towards polar opposite extremes that both serve the interests of the elite.

Whether it’s the Young Turks or Ben Shapiro, Americans are caught in a vice of a false political dichotomy.

People want social conservatism and to retain the historical identity of America for obvious reasons. Most people don’t want the town they live in to dramatically transform solely for the sake of some transformation experiment. What is offered to the American people by “conservative” outlets like National Review is the idea that social conservatism must be packaged with an extreme “free market” gobbledygook ideology, which normal people don’t really support the same way normal people don’t support flagrant homosexuality pushed everywhere they turn.

The second objective of the media collusion is to prevent anyone from effectively gaining traction in this sweet spot of social conservatism and economic populism. The entire media and what is colloquially known as “the establishment” work in unison towards these aims. This is accomplished by censorship and smear campaigns.

Trump ran on this platform in 2016, more or less. Yet no Republicans have followed in his footsteps. Why? Because there is no special interest or donor support for nationalism combined with populism.

The people and organizations promoting such a worldview have been purged from social media. They’re long gone. Most of these were the original hard-core Trump supporters. They’ve all been banned from every platform on the internet for espousing such views and unapologetically supporting the President. So now, people are back to the same old options of controlled opposition.

Since Americans are so tolerant, and want to be tolerant, this trait has been exploited by the media. They’ve taken this positive trait and weaponized it. For a person to believe themselves tolerant they have to support the most unthinkable, degenerate, weird social positions imaginable. What blows up this illusion is when a “normal guy” shows up and says “yeah, actually it’s ok to be intolerant of things that are objectively harmful to society.”

Socially conservative, fiscally populist is the only viable path forward.

Steve Kuzmich is tapping into fundamental truths about politics in 2020 America. It’s true that neither party is serving the interests of the people, but his prescription is insane. He says he wants to increase taxes through the roof while cutting benefits. I’m sorry Steve, but I’m interested in actually winning elections. If we have a balanced budget but the left is sterilizing children and transforming them into transgender fish people, is that really a compromise worth making?

Steve claims he is the alternative to the two “extreme” candidates. The fact is, Steve is the one who’s extreme... extremely retarded.
