Insightful Philosopher Ross Ramsey Says People Will Vote Along Virus Lines
Ross Ramsey, the executive editor of the Texas Tribune, is an erectile dysfuntion-riddled lunatic with the most boring takes imaginable on every issue. His paper is transparently a propaganda machine that is totally for sale to anyone who will give them money. If you’ve got the $$, they will shill whatever agenda you want. They’re the cheap prostitutes of Texas media.
We wanted haircuts. Now we want football. The coronavirus doesn’t care.
In April, the urgency to bust the first round of coronavirus restrictions was strong. Everybody wanted a haircut, and their elected officials wanted them to be happy.
Besides, the state’s apparent success at flattening the curve made relaxed rules seem safe.
I find it amazing that someone who produces a worthless product under the protections of the first amendment is currently reducing the first amendment down to “ wanting a haircut.” This is a little glimpse into what this man thinks about himself and his role in society — a benevolent overlord.
Ironic glasses mean I’m smarter than you
The reader may have noticed, he lets it slip that we did indeed “flatten the curve.” This idea was the entire goal of the lockdowns, with the initial promise being if we flatten the curve we will open everything back up.
We flattened the cursive because an unflat curve was never going to happen. The unflat curve model was based on completely fake data from China. I suppose Ross thinks you are too stupid to remember. Nevertheless, the virus continues to rip through the country despite everyone doing “mask theory.” Even with all these new cases, the hospitals are not overwhelmed.
Look closer at the data and you’ll see it’s only very old people being hospitalized and dying. While the levels of hospitalization for younger people is also increasing, the explanation for this is the most obvious thing in the world.
Americans are so misinformed by the media they believe that this virus has wiped out nearly 10% of the country. If you believed this virus had killed 30 million Americans in just a few months, it’s obvious why you would go to the hospital with a slight fever — you are certain that death is imminent.
The wager is bigger this time: This return of social gathering is taking place during an election.
Gov. Greg Abbott, the Texas politician most directly accountable for the state’s response, isn’t on the ballot. But his party is, from the presidential race down to contests for county offices.

You don’t have to wait to see whether the pandemic will influence Texas politics. It’s already happening. That first reopening round introduced a new political figure — singer and salon owner Shelley Luther of Pilot Point — who was jailed in Dallas for a short time after refusing to obey an edict that closed salons and barbershops to curb the spread of the virus.
Her rallies, and the rallies that ultimately prompted her release (and Abbott’s decision to stop enforcement of his own executive orders) after a few days, made her the face of efforts to set Texans free to make their own decisions about social distancing, business closures, masks and all the rest.

“Dozens of you have reached out to ask me about running in the upcoming special election in Senate District 30,” Luther tweetedthis week. “I'm not a politician, but as a conservative business owner, I am concerned about the direction of our state. Please pray for my family as we consider our next steps.”
…. But she would be a pioneering COVID candidate in Texas — someone whose public prominence stems solely from the pandemic and its fallout.
This issue of everybody lives being destroyed, the economy being decimated, our most basic freedoms being taken away, the media lying to everyone, etc. is the most insane thing that’s ever happened in the history of this country. We should be using this issue as a battering ram to take down every elected official (Virus Criminals) at every level of government and replace them with nationalist-minded, populist candidates who support our right wing, Christian values, pro-family agenda. This is the opportunity of a lifetime to use an issue against everyone who went along with our freedoms being taken away.
Do not waste this opportunity.
