Taxpayer–Subsidized Uber says Abortions Must Go On

When Current Revolt changed its focus from reporting on the Swingers Caucus in the Texas House to exposing the demons and devil worshipers in Texas, many people said it would never work. Well, here we are just a few minutes later and it’s working out great.

Women all across Texas are now brutally oppressed in that they are unable to have limitless amounts of casual sex without any consequences. It’s like it’s 1972 again — women are the property of men, spending their days and nights in an endless state of misery.

Fortunately for women seeking to spend less time surrounded by future grandchildren and more time spent with Microsoft Outlook, one company with Texas operations is standing up for loose women’s rights.

In response to Lyft going full-666 and saying abortions are “our values”, the CEO of Uber chimed in and said his company will also provide financial security to drivers looking to break a law passed legitimately in a sovereign state.

Luckily for Uber, they do not have to worry about losing money on this because the San Fransisco-based company has already been promised $24 million in taxpayer money by Texas Republicans through the Texas Enterprise Fund.

Right?

Ok, so Republicans are dumping millions and millions of dollars into a company that turns around and donates more than 85% of their political contributions to Democrats. And yes, they are intent on making sure that everyone knows that they are throwing their corporate weight behind maintaining the steady stream of abortions.

But ultimately, they are just a transportation company.

They will provide rides to whoever needs one. That’s how the free market works.

Ok, so Uber is saying that Trump supporters aren’t welcome to use their service, but mothers looking to rip their babies out ASAP deserve to feel safe. I get it.

But think about it, Uber is planning to have a massive workforce in Dallas, subsidized by $24 million of your tax dollars. They will use their wealth and power to help promote Republican values like a strong economy and…

The $24 million has not yet been distributed to Uber.

Will the Texas Legislature do the right thing, fight back, and revoke this cash award?

Or are they too caught up in the cares and riches and pleasures of this life to take our pro-life agenda all the way to the finish line?
