Tarrant GOP Taps Homosexuality Promoting Millennial for Keynote Speaker
Are we really going to do this?
Rep.-elect Madison Cawthorn, R-N.C., beat out a candidate backed by President Trump and the Washington establishment to become the youngest incoming member of Congress at age 25.
So he arrived in Washington beholden to no one and determined to shake up the Republican Party through new messaging, new recruits and new ways to fundraise.
"My election was really a referendum on the establishment," Cawthorn told Fox News in a recent interview. "They're really sending me up here to fight against that."

Cawthorn wants to "brand a new Republican Party" that is bold and inspirational. Republicans can no longer be the party of "no" and dodge thorny issues like health care and the environment. Instead, the GOP should be "thought leaders" on solutions.
Republicans also have been too hung up on social issues and should become libertarian on personal matters. The exception is abortion, which requires "very loud" opposition, he said.
"I really want the Republican Party to be bolder," Cawthorn said. "I want us to be a big tent party that says I don't care if you're gay. I don't care what your religion is. As long as you believe in freedom and believe in our founding principles, you're welcome in our party."
"I really want our party defined as the Freedom Party," he added.

So here we have the “Keynote Speaker” at the Tarrant County Republican Party “event of the year,” a 25-year-old trying to force-feed the normalization of homosexuality within the party under the auspices of “lol we need a big tent, man.”
Is homosexuality really a winning issue at the ballot box?
Let’s dive into this.
Before the supreme Court magically found hidden in the constitution, in an amendment ratified in 1868 after a horrific war, a “guaranteed right” for two people of the same sex to marry, people rejected this notion outright. The court somehow found it in the constitution despite it never being found before, and despite same-sex marriage being voted on many, many times in many, many States.
At the polls, it was universally rejected in a stunning and bipartisan fashion for being the backwards, anti-family, anti-society policy that it is.
The people of the several states were asked about this topic, and they gave their answer.
The people who try and claim that all the same people who voted against having same-sex marriage have magically changed their opinions because of clever opinion polling are kidding themselves. What the polls ask is unrelated to the original questions posed on the secret ballots, whereby people’s true views were expressed.
Even in Houston, where left-wing Democrats totally dominate elections in brutal fashion, when voters were asked if they wanted to sign off on normalizing weird sexual aberrations in their community, they said “UH NAH MAN WE GOOD.”
The voters of Houston said “No! We have a right to determine what kind of society we want, and what the limits of acceptable behavior will be, because we live here.”
There is power in saying “No.” Any successful sales professional knows the empowerment that comes from allowing people to say NO.
But do we listen to wisdom anymore?
Or do we listen to 25 year olds who won an election and are dating a CrossFit model?
Cawthorn is determined to be a powerful voice for the next generation of conservatives, arguing the Republican Party must change to make inroads with young voters who think the GOP is "angry and just says 'no.'"
Look, I’ve already written at length about the political trap that Madison Cawthorn is leading people towards.
Frankly, not enough of you read it. It’s extremely important. Cawthorn’s path is the path to sure defeat.
I will touch on it briefly here.
There is a recurring attempt by people to push the Republican Party to adopt “libertarian” views on both fiscal and social issues. This is sometimes referred to as “fiscally conservative, socially moderate.”
There is a concerted effort to brand this as “the ultimate liberty package” ideology by people who sympathize with the Libertarian Party, by groups like Turning Point USA, Texas Young Republicans, and now by the youngest Republican in national politics.
This combination of political views is a complete and utter disaster that has literally no support whatsoever.

25 Year Old Bachelors Should not be Leading the Party
Madison Cawthorn says we should have a “big tent” party where anything goes except for abortion. However, there is already a “big tent” party that not only welcomes anti-social behavior, but elevates and celebrates it.
You really think you will “out-big tent” the Democrat’s big tent? They don’t just have no standards for who’s allowed in the tent, they have reverse standards to try and attract the biggest outcasts possible. Saying you will do this as a “lite” version is utterly insane. We need real standards. People can either join if they meet the standards or they can support us from the sideline.
There is no demand for a party that accepts endless social experiments while it also refuses to spend money on things that help their voters because “that’s socialism.”
Again, this is what Cawthorn is pitching.
Where there is demand from the people is for a “conservative” viewpoint on social issues, traditional culture and identity, along with a moderate position on fiscal issues. This is the sweet spot of American politics, and there’s a heck-ton of forces in America today that exist solely to prevent this type of coalition from coming together.
It’s Even Simpler Than Big Data Trends Though
Look at Madison’s positions and consider how they play out if you take these views and expand them over 5 generations.
You cannot say you are against abortion but also say you support the normalizing of premarital sex that has been allowed to take hold in our culture, because then your morals are exposed as being completely arbitrary and disconnected from God and natural law.
In other words, you’ve already lost the battle on abortion because your foundation is built on sand.
Another important thing to understand is we as Texans do not owe anyone an explanation for why we want our society to be free from these “new cultural influences” that are not a part of our traditions. The people of Texas are not obligated to adopt the worldview The New York Times says we must adopt. We are allowed to have a place for us. A place for a Christian majority that honors the traditions of our forefathers and honors God’s laws. This has been what Texas has always been, and the obligation is on others to explain why they want to change our state and why we should consider it.
Be wary of people like Madison Cawthorn and their message of “let’s just agree with the Democrats on a few (big) things.” Recent history shows us Democrats have no problem with certain Republicans advancing the Leftist agenda for them.
