BREAKING: TEXAS GOP VOTES TO DELETE GAB ACCOUNT – CENSORSHIP WINS

Developing:

State Republican Executive Committee Member Rolando Garcia has announced that the SREC of Texas has voted 35-25 to delete the Texas GOP account on Gab, a Christian-run social media platform that supports freedom of speech for all legal speech.

Our readers should not be surprised by this. Greg Abbott and Cat Parks have both pushed hard to limit free speech in Texas and have used the excuse of “anti-semitism” in order to justify censorship against Twitter alternative, Gab. This is interesting considering there is plenty of anti-Christian rhetoric all over Twitter yet not a single word out of Parks or Abbott about this.

Texans everywhere should be not only disappointed in this move but also concerned at where this will eventually lead. Once you start banning speech, or in this case running away from speech, there can never be an end to the speech policing.

Once the GOP starts deleting social media accounts because there is objectionable material on a certain platform, there is suddenly a tacit endorsement of all the material found on platforms which the party remains.

It should be noted that the Texas GOP still remains on leftist controlled social media such as Facebook and Twitter, where you can find weird things like furry porn, that the GOP now endorses.

We will update the story with the record of votes as news develops.
