Briscoe Cain Hilariously Denies Testimony at Election Integrity Hearing

One of the top legislative priorities of the Republican Party of Texas is to stop the serial election cheating by Democrats.

If there’s an election happening, Democrats are cheating.

The left labels any attempt to stop their cheating as “voter suppression” which is genius. Of course like everything else, the “suppression” is said to be rooted in a virulent hatred for skin tones.

Republicans in turn label efforts to stop Democrat cheating as “election integrity” which is boring and easily overpowered by the “voter suppression” skin hater narrative.

It’s whatever, I guess. The GOP never seems interested in actually winning.

Far from boring, however, was the hilarious act of citizen suppression by Biscoe Cain, Chairman of the House Elections Committee, while a hearing took place on the leading bill to stop Democrat cheating.

AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — A procedural gaffe on Thursday forced the abrupt end of a Texas House hearing on a Republican-backed voting restrictions bill and at least temporarily deprived more than 100 people of the chance to testify about it, including some who said they had driven hundreds of miles to be there

Republican state Rep. Briscoe Cain, who chairs the House Elections Committee and who authored the bill, called a premature end to the hearing, explaining that parliamentary rules prevented him from continuing it after he called for a recess without setting a time to return.

“Even though I wish very much to continue today’s hearing, the rules prevent me from doing so. Please forgive me for my error,” said Cain, an ardent supporter of former President Donald Trump who volunteered after the November election to help Trump’s campaign pursue its baseless voter fraud case.

Amazin.

Beta O’Rourke even showed up to yell at the committee and was told to go away.

Overall it’s funny. I think they will pass some kind of election reform bill, which the entire media will label as being based on a hatred for the color of the skin, and which will subsequently be gutted by a lawless federal judge using a Mad Libbed legal rationale that won’t make any sense, but it won’t have to because Republicans can’t effectively counter the skin hatred narrative.

So as usual, Republicans will take a public image beating due to their messaging incompetence (and failure to secure the first amendment in the online sphere for their voters) and will gain very little in return. The same elected Republicans will then tell Republican voters they actually achieved total victory.

It’s whatever. Our oppressors in Washington are always going to rig the system to get the outcome they want.

Ultimately, there is only 1 vote that matters.
