Cringe Mayor Tells Residents to Embrace Virus Regime
We continue to be heading full speed into a weird new reality where extending the life of 78 year olds is the most important thing in the world. It’s apt to say that policymakers are stealing the youthful years from younger generations in order to keep themselves and their elderly parents safe from the flu. Many people have accepted this premise outright and are committed to following through until the television tells them we aren’t doing the masked lockdowns anymore.
Due to the fact that wearing a cotton mask or loose fitting surgical mask will not stop the spread of a respiratory virus among a population where infection has taken hold, we are now being conditioned to do the mask thing “just because.”
Grapevine, Texas Mayor William D. Tate is in love with both the idea of life extension for elderly people as a public policy (obviously) and being honest that we are wearing the masks because it’s a sign we are now slaves, not because it’s backed by any rational theory that it will make a virus disappear.
Earlier this week, the Mayor released a statement on the virus hysteria. He seemed sincere, for whatever that’s worth, but it’s assertions indefensible.
“These times are trying the souls of all humankind. We are dealing with an unknown enemy that is threatening our health, our economy, and our way of life. Our knowledge of ways to defeat this virus is limited. Short of a cure or a vaccine, which now is beyond our reach, we must come together.
There are all manner of ailments that exist that are threatening my health. But you deal with them as they come. The Mayor also says the virus is threatening the economy, which is true in a very limited sense as every broken window or sickened person can be said to be hurting the economy’s growth despite the fact that money will be spent to repair them, according to Frédéric Bastiat famous fallacy. However, it’s obvious that politicians and the media are behind the destruction of our economy.
Hilariously, the Mayor acknowledges that many people are onto the scam, and that their arguments cannot be refuted, and in next breath he says it’s “clear” we have to go along with the hoax anyway. He says this new Mask Cult is some kind of militia we should all join.
Many projections have been incorrect and the data has been inconsistent. People are not sure what to do and do not know what to believe. However, it is clear that we are all in this together and we need every citizen to join our army to defeat it.
Ok, maybe I can get on board with this part of the Mayor’s plan
It’s implied that every sensible person is onboard with surrendering our rights for an undetermined amount of time for unspecified reasons other than “there’s a virus.”
I realize people are tired of staying home and many do not want to wear a mask, especially in this Texas summer heat. I have heard the arguments made by those against wearing a mask and I believe they all pale compared to the devastating consequences we will all suffer if we do not comply.

The requirement to wear a mask is only temporary, so to comply does not give up any civil rights in my opinion.
The Mayor here implies that it is a civl rights violation to force people to wear masks because there is a cold virus, but it’s OK if those civil rights are violated only temporarily.

The Mayor says it’s only temporary, yet he is unable to give us a timetable or quantifiable metric by which we can expect the anti-social mask lockdowns to end.
We The People Are Entitled To, And Must Demand the Following:
Recorded votes from politicians slated to represent us regarding these brutal lockdowns disrupting our families and destroying many lives. We cannot just let everything fall on Greg Abbott and hoaxer city councils.
Clearly defined metrics of lethality and contagiousness of a pathogen being considered as a reason to impede our fundamental rights, such as talking to people in public.
Clearly defined timetables and benchmarks for either extending or lifting any restrictions related to pathogenic pandemics before the threat arises.
The names of those advising our public officials on public health in this current lockdown so that conflicts of interest can be exposed.
These are just a few of the things you need to be demanding from every politician exerting power over you, whether they are aspiring Covid celebrities or silent on the issue, they are all complicit. Write them and call their offices.
He also promotes BLM talking points to put this in perspective.
The Mayor says many other ludicrous things, which I won’t go over here for the sake of brevity (they are the same points the TV is making) and ends his stupid post threatening people that the police will come and fine them if they aren’t wearing the face covering. The obvious question to all this becomes, if we are wearing masks in July for a flu, what hope do we have for not wearing masks this fall, and every flu season afterwards?
Are we not entitled to these answers?
The masks are psychological warfare, the Mayor himself admitted they are just something you are supposed to do under peer pressure. But this is more than just a mask crusade.
Man is created in the image of God. Covering your face for unclear reasons just because people in positions of power over you tell you is, in actual fact, Satanic.
This is a Christian nation, and we know whom we serve.
