After Abolishing First Amendment, Abbott Says Vote GOP Because Dems will Abolish First Amendment
Texas Governor Greg Abbott addressed Republican state delegates in a pre recorded message simulcasted to Youtube on Thursday. His gestures and mannerisms were extremely forced, almost Ted Cruz-like. He also seems to have morphed into a Christian TV Evangelist.
“Many of you do not like the mask requirement, I don’t either. It is the last thing that I wanted to do. Actually, the next to last. The last thing that any of us want is to lock Texas back down again. We must do all that we can to prevent that.
Trust me governor, I’m doing all that I can.
“But each day, the facts get wore. In just the past month, hospitalizations increased every day.”
Yes governor, you have been promoting the idea that this super deadly virus is going to kill us all unless we wear a cotton face covering, so I’m sure many people who feel sick go straight to the hospital, thinking death is imminent.
Many regions are running out of ICU beds, and deaths have almost quadrupled, reaching over 100 in 1 day last week.
Let’s look at those death figures, governor.
As you can see between 500-600 people die every day in Texas from any cause. The percentage of expected deaths is not very concerning, and definitely not concerning enough to abolish the first amendment and close our gyms. What’s also stunning is that pneumonia appears to be a much bigger pandemic than coronavirus, as pneumonia is killing more people.
Now, these numbers do not include this scary figure of 100 covid deaths in one day in addition to the 500 that always die. So until then we will stand by, ready to be blown away and the carnage.
He also gave an ominous warning that people watching him will die from the coronavirus if they don’t do exactly what he says.
“If we don’t slow this disease quickly, our hospitals will get overrun. And I fear, it will even inflict some of the people that I’m talking to right now.”
Abbott claimed he would never abandon the constitution and reminded viewers that as Attorney General, he fought for Texan’s first, second, and tenth amendment rights. Now, if you ask the average Republican activist if they feel they have free speech in America, a super majority will say “no” due to the fact that we have a press-controlled state in America, and if you say something the media doesn’t like, you have no legal protections from these international corporations using their influence to destroy your life.
However, one thing that Abbott will fight like hell for is the right to quell speech and discriminate against those who do not swear an allegiance to a particular foreign country with his insane crusade to punish Americans for disagreeing with him about a foreign country on the other side of the world with these anti-BDS laws.
He won’t do anything to protect Americans, our country, or stop the hell being unleashed on it. Even the so-called “Chick-fil-a Bill” which protected the rights of Christians was a partisan effort .
Abbott repeated several times about how abolishing the right to assemble and telling people how close to stand to their friends is, in fact, constitutional. He doesn’t explain how, presumably because that would be embarrassing. He said a judge agrees with him therefore it checks out.
He then makes an appeal for common ground in the form of being “anti-Joe Biden.”
“Now, I know there are issues that we may differ on. But I also know there is so much that we agree on. Things like beating Joe Biden, and reelecting Donald Trump.
Now Joe Biden, he may be hiding in his basement somewhere, but we know exactly what his vision for America is. Joe Biden and the Democrats, they want to cancel conservative’s speech.”
We’re all hiding in our basements, Governor, due to your hysterical lockdown agenda. And it’s true, Democrats want to silence conservative’s speech, and they have been doing a damn good job of it. But the Democrats never shut down our gyms or made everyone lose their jobs due to a cold virus and lies about the threat from said cold virus. The Democrats in Texas never canceled all our rights and locked us in our houses. The right to peaceably assemble, speak, and earn a living to feed your family are gone. Republicans in the State can’t even meet to figure out what the hell to do about it, either.
It was you who did it, Mr. Abbott.
We need new leaders.
We need leadership who will aggressively protect and promote the interests of Republican voters.
We need these insane mask laws gone (although I don’t think the mask issue is particularly important and requiring masks within reason is constitutional, I believe. Requiring masks for the cold is not constitutional.) The mask laws must go before the election in November, as we cannot have people voting in Halloween masks, effectively nullifying voter ID laws.
We need political speech protected as a civil right, and we need legal protections to prevent employers from retaliating against employees who have been targeted by the media for their defensible views. If you cannot hold the same views as your grandparents, how can it be claimed we are “conserving” anything?
We need them now.
