Rep. Krause Triggers Coomers in Probe Plea
Looks like calls to investigate the porn industry are coming right on time. According to The Texan, Rep. Matt Krause (R-Fort Worth) is calling for an investigation into Pornhub, and its parent company Mindgeek.
“I request that your offices conduct a full criminal investigation into MindGeek and coordinate with other local law enforcement agencies as necessary and relevant to hold Mindgeek’s leadership accountable to the fullest extent of the law,” Krause wrote in his letter.
“Please protect vulnerable and victimized adults and children from this predatory industry that is fueling deadly and dangerous human trafficking.”
Krause sent his letter to the Texas attorney general and Department of Public Safety (DPS)”
While this is commendable, Krause is being a wimp. During the 87th Session, he never proposed legislation to regulate, much less ban the porn industry (not even requiring age verification). Instead, his plan is writing a letter to the AG and DPS, with no guarantees of them doing anything. But as our magic suits in Austin like to say, “Trust the Plan!”
In all seriousness, Krause’s actions exemplify those of “conservative” politicians in dealing with important matters, even when dealing with the online promotion of sexual abuse so egregious that Pornhub is facing a $600 million class-action lawsuit.
The harms caused by pornography on society are incalculable, not only in the promotion of deviancy and abuse required to make said videos, but consumers of pornography are afflicted with permanent brain damage similar to drug addiction. For those interested in a deep dive on porn’s harms, a comprehensive video on the matter can be found here.
What objections do grassroots conservatives have to banning, or at least regulating the porn industry? Not many at this point. However, crypto-libertarians, a fifth column in the GOP, are abetting the Lemon Party establishment in killing ideas that bring real solutions because “muh freedumbz” (as we at Current Revolt have covered at least twice.)
If we had leaders that actually fought for their constituent’s interests, problems like this would have been solved a long time ago. It’s not unrelated to the unwillingness to secure our border, ban child castration sex experiments, and mitigate or expel other deviancy. However, we don’t have leadership that cares about its base, much less their future. As a result, we had a Screw-Job Session, and a “exthra thpethal” session ordered by Greg “moon-faced assassin of joy” Abbott.
Texans were screwed left, right, and center during the past session, and bonus treachery is on the way. There is a way to deal with these politicians however: voting them out in the coming 2022 primaries.
Soon, degeneracy will be not just a growing cancer, but state-enforced. Long term, Texas independence is our best bet. We must escape the grasp of the Leftist managerial regime in DC forever.
You were born free. So act like it.
