Abbott Doing More Tricks Ahead of Screw Job Session 2021
You’d think it would be easier to just do what voters wanted instead of always coming up with elaborate ways to trick them.
One year ago, a wave of Texas counties began declaring that they were “Second Amendment sanctuaries.”
Now Governor Greg Abbott has said that he wants the entire state to be a gun rights haven.
“I want to make sure that Texas becomes a Second Amendment sanctuary state so that no government official at any level can come and take your gun away from you, despite those people who said, ‘Heck yes, we’re going to take your gun,’” said Abbott during the Texas Public Policy Foundation’s 2021 Policy Orientation.
While I like the concept of declaring you intend to nullify these insane laws that are about to come out of the Fake President Joe Biden’s administration, sanctuary cities declarations from Republicans are just a GOP tricks to scam their voters.
And it’s not even an original trick. Democrats started this whole “sanctuary city” bit in leftist-run cities in 2017, presumably because their permanent underclass of alien servants were experiencing a drop in productivity due to increased anxiety that Hitler Trump was going to round them up and send them back to their homes on an air conditioned bus.
So they did this trick where they declared that no matter how many people aliens raped or how many girls they shot on piers, not a single one of the poor infiltrators would ever be prevented from living in your neighborhood, because living next to you is a human right for everyone on earth.
Democrats are full of tricks.
Republicans, on the other hand, have been actively excluding people with good political ideas at the behest of the media. The best they’re willing to give us is scams that don’t do anything.
They’ll do things that look good, and then people assume that there will be some positive outcome from these bold public statements, but it’s always just a cruel trick on the voters.
Democrat sanctuary cities work because the Democrats have the entire international power structure backing them. They have the federal agencies, the NGO’s, academia, the media, Hollywood, big tech, on and on. They all support this “anyone on earth has a right to come live right next to you, but it’s not open borders, but even if it was open borders America is bad and so are the people too which is why we need new people.”
These symbolic “acts of defiance” only work if the power structure supports you. There is no institutional power behind the idea that Americans have a right to personal or national sovereignty. Hell, there’s not even support for elections not being blatantly fraudulent with “vote via postcard with no security checks” scams built in.
What happens when the power structure doesn’t support your agenda and you protest? Well, we know now, don’t we?
The last protest we did is being declared the new Pearl Harbor and 9/11 combined.
The article talks about how Republican legislators have filed versions of the Texas Firearm Protection Act. While I obviously support these bills, and support passing them, there is zero chance they will work. Not just from a legal perspective but also because they necessitate political courage that we simply don’t have. All we have are tricksters and huckster Republicans running things.
They do these tricks to:
Raise money
Get attention
Program people to believe they’re about to take action at any moment
Then, there’s the courts. Our courts are beyond parody at this point with the incoherent reasoning in their opinions. It used to be just Roe v Wade that was the big mental gymnastics joke, but now almost every opinion is just as absurd. People are right when they point out that federal judges are employees of the federal government, not impartial actors.
So what does Abbott mean when he says Texas should be a Second Amendment sanctuary state?
What do Toth’s and Leman’s bills mean when they say they would “prohibit law enforcement from enforcing” new federal gun laws.
Does this mean Abbott will order the Texas Rangers to shoot ATF officers and other federal authorities who try and enforce new draconian gun laws?
If that’s not what he’s talking about, then what can this “sanctuary” statement possibly mean?
I have no idea.
But hey…
I’ve got an idea to protect our Second Amendment rights.
This one weird trick.
Globalists hate it.
