Special Session Announced — Will it be A-OK or FMA?
Due to excessive amounts of straight chillin’ during the 87th Regular Session, Virus Tyrant Greg Abbott has called for a Special Session which will begin on July 8th.
In a Tuesday night Virus-style town hall, Abbott indicated what will be on the agenda.
Because only agenda items outlined by the Governor can be considered in a special session, I suspect this will be a fairly quick ordeal so that members of the legislature can get back to limousine ridin’, jet flyin’, kiss stealin’, wheelin’ & dealin’.
In case you didn’t hear, Republicans had the “most conservative session ever.”
In fact, it was so conservative that Republicans are having at least two more special sessions to pass conservative legislation. We are reaching levels of conservatism that shouldn’t even be possible.
Of course, ‘conservative’ means you lose to the left. But you lose with principles and with grace.

Republicans had no choice but to pass some kind of election reform, given that nobody believes in these elections anymore.
The fact that election integrity failed to pass really reflects poorly on Briscoe Cain, who chaired the committee in charge of election reform. It makes me wonder if Phelan stabbed him in the back.
In case you missed it, Republicans waited until the last few hours of the 140-day session to try and pass the top priority of the party, election integrity. Democrats then just walked out and Republicans said “aw shucks, zir.”

The Texas Big Black Caucus says that voter/election fraud is orders of magnitude more rare than being struck by lightning.

If you disagree, that’s just a sign you need more black caucus and you are in actual fact a white supremacizer.
I didn’t see a lot of Republicans complaining about Democrats walking out or blaming Democrats for the failure of this bill, which may be a sign they are aware we are watching them.
Not only did they wait until the last possible hour to try and pass SB7, but they could have easily prevented Democrats from walking out like they did.
The House Rules detail how a simple motion from a handful of Republicans could have prevented Democrats from walking out by having the sergeant-at-arms order the doors locked.
Given that Texas Republicans don’t really have the choice not to pass some kind of election reform bill, I’m trying to figure out why they did this. Here are some possibilities:
Phelan and other traitors were seeking to help Abbott in his primary re-election campaign
Complete and total incompetence
QAnon is right and all these lawmakers are wearing ankle monitors with sealed indictments as they to hold on to their freedom using Texas’ legal immunity for lawmakers during a session (trust the plan)
Lawmakers want more time away from their spouses to FMA
Dan Patrick, who has been alleged by House members to be a closet transsexual, posted his special session wish list to Twitter. You may be shocked to hear the man alleged to be a tranny is not including banning child trannies in his list of priorities.
Wanting to ban men competing in women’s sports while failing to address all the reasons that have led us to the point where men are competing in women’s sports is probably the most conservative thing I’ve ever seen in my life. It really is textbook conservatism.
Social media censorship is in fact our biggest issue, it’s the easiest to solve, and it will have the largest impact on our politics. However, censorship of our ideas by big tech and smearing of GOP primary challengers by the media is how all these useless Republicans stay in power.
Democrats are calling for the special session to be used to make mass shootings illegal.
I guess we’ll see what happens.

Start making a list of all the bad votes your legislator took and check out our guide to grassroots propaganda campaigns. We’ve got to remove as many of these people as possible in the 2022 primaries.
