STARBUCKS EMPLOYEE SPITS IN CONSERVATIVE STUDENT’S DRINK
It’s well past the point where these things don’t even come as a surprise anymore.
UNT student and former YCT (Young Conservatives of Texas) President, Kelly Neidert, has become quite the local celebrity at her school due to her attempting to host Jeff Younger to speak at a YCT meeting. As many know, leftist UNT students showed up and had mental breakdowns, publicly displayed their mental illnesses, and made a strong case for why a father figure is so important in a child’s life.
Yesterday while browsing the popular college social media application, Yik Yak, Kelly discovered a post from a Starbucks employee where she had recently ordered a drink.
This is actually a crime punishable by jail time.
Kelly then took to twitter to ask people to reach out to her local Starbucks.
We reached out to Starbucks #11149 located at 2300 S Loop 288 in Denton and their line was disconnected most of the day.
After several hours we were finally able to get through and an employee answered who confirmed he was the manager on duty.
He also confirmed several other things on the phone.
He confirmed the Starbucks had been receiving calls all day which is why they disconnected their phone temporarily.
He confirmed he was aware of the incident involving an employee allegedly spitting in Kelly’s drink.
He stated he had not spoken to his staff regarding the issue and would not be speaking to staff.
He stated he would not be investigating this issue nor would he review the security camera footage.
He told us he was the manager on duty but refused to give us any identifying information such as his first name.
His attitude on the phone was what we would describe as incredibly sarcastic and very rude considering that there was a possibility that a member of his staff had just put their bodily fluids into a customer’s drink.
We don’t have high hopes for any investigation being done by Starbucks, and we will assume that if the employee who spit in Kelly’s drink is found they’ll likely just face a small slap on the wrist. Such is the case when this happens to someone of right-wing political views. If the situation were reversed you wouldn’t be hearing about this story just now, it would be running on local media and national news, with potentially a statement by Kamala Harris decrying Starbucks.
