Bryan Slaton - MVP of Spesh-Sesh 1 & 2
One man continues to put his head down and churn out real solutions for making life in a Virus dictatorship hellscape much more interesting.
That man is Bryan Slaton, the Republican from House District 2.
Slaton’s Legislative Highlights:
HB89 - Bans various forms of child medical experimentation on their reproductive systems. The Stop Trying to Diddle our Kids Act
HB90 - Mandates sex segregation in most sports in public schools. The If You’ve Got a Dick, You’re Not a Chick Act
HB91 - A compressive border plan to keep all these randos out of Texas. The Who Are These Random Men Get Them Out of Our Country Act
HB103 - Abolition of Abortion through Equal Protection for All Unborn Children Act, death penalty for women and abortionists. The Hoes Mad Act
HB106 - Bill to withhold salary from insurrectionist Democrats doing exotic lesbian vacations. The C.R.E.A.M. Act
HB110 - Protects our monuments to our ancestors. The We’re Not Sorry Act
HB271 - Establishing a sustainable way to build concentration camps to house invaders. The We Won’t Apologize for This Act
HB272 - Make existing as an illegal alien a state felony. The LOL Act
HB303 - Bans Chinese people from owning anything in Texas (bill says bans only communists, but can you really trust any of them?) The ‘About Time’ Act
HJR13 - a constitutional amendment that will bully private ranch owners into letting Texas use their land to secure if from invasion (sort of, effectively) The Pest Control Pact
HR10 - Ban Democrats from being committee chairs. The Bye Felicia Act
HR16 - Bill to try and mitigate a common Republican scam tactic of sitting on bills forever in calendars committee. The Screw Job Defense Act
Many items here are on to the Republican Party of Texas’ priorities.
Definitely a very strong showing from the freshman from Royse City.
Did you know Slaton won his seat by defeating senile geriatric Dan Flynn in the 2020 election by 22 points after narrowly losing twice before?
Wikipedia hilariously says he ran a highly effective cookie shaming campaign.
I wonder how much of his win was due to anger about the Virus State.
I’ve been wondering a lot about the Virus State lately.
I guess we just keep trying to position ourselves to make a push for Texas independence at some undetermined point in the future.
I’m also thinking about changing the format of Current Revolt from a Christian movement to a Moslem nationalist outlet.
Seems like an untapped market for Texas political commentary.
