Keith Nielsen was elected by the people as Chairman of the Harris County (Houston) Republican Party back in March. Neilsen, an alpha male with a very well-defined jaw line, has a healthy diet, exercises regularly, and stands approximately 6 foot 7 inches tall.

A true team-player, Chairman Nielsen was recently sworn into the office of Solider in LTC Allen West’s personal militia.
Several media outlets are falsely reporting that Chairman Nielsen did something wrong when he posted a hilarious and ironic meme featuring a Martin Luther King quote next to a banana. Our Senior Legal Analyst, Slippy Toad, looked into these claims and found there to be no evidence of wrongdoing in the posts.
Verdict: Keith Nielsen did nothing wrong
In fact, what makes the posts actually quite funny is a little-known fact about Martin Luther King: he hated bananas. Yes, top of the list of dislikes of “Dr.” King were bananas. King did, however, love rape jokes. Those are not funny, but that’s why Chairman Neilsen did not, and would never, joke about such serious matters.
However, due to personal reasons of the Republican Party in Harris County being nuthin’ but a bunch of steers and queers, Chairman Nielsen submitted a letter of resignation and the party's secretary, Josh Flynn, said he received it Monday morning.
The Texas GOP is at a critical turning point. Real men with a sense of humor and normal testosterone level can’t take the stale cowardice of the party’s current makeup.
