TX GOP Leader Signals Failed Session Will Destroy Party

An influential member of the Republican Party of Texas posted an ominous warning about the future of the Party in a press release Friday.

State Republican Executive Committeewoman and patriot Jill Glover penned a message to Republican activists on the critical importance of actually passing meaningful legislation in the form of RPT priorities. The message also seemed to be indirectly aimed towards Republican legislators, signaling that bills not moving in committees and the other usual tricks won’t be quietly tolerated under the Beloved and Respected Leader, Allen West’s regime.

Current Revolt brings you the full message below.

Republican Party of Texas:

Legislative Priorities Report for Jan. 29, 2021

Joe Biden has been in office just a little over a week, and has already issued 30 executive orders, maybe more, by the time you read this. The progressive socialist left is very organized and intentional, and they waste no time implementing their agenda. That includes the state of Texas, as well, even though we hold a Republican majority.

As Republicans, we value limited government, so we are more measured in our bill filing and are slower to take action. In the current political environment, however, we must be informed and determined in fighting back current efforts to restrict God-given freedoms and rights protected by the Constitution.

The purpose of this report is to give you, the voter, tools to make your voice heard in Texas. We cannot expect to vote for someone with an R behind their name and assume they will carry out Republican principles. It should work that way, but it does not, thanks to human nature and the influence of lobbyists.

If you are new to receiving these legislative reports, I would like to review a few things. First, the Republican Party of Texas is distinct from the national Republican Party. We are led by Lt. Col. Allen West, and as a Party, we supported President Trump. The Party is governed by Chairman West and 62 State Executive Committeemen and women, two for each of 31 State Senate Districts. We, along with county chairs, precinct chairs, and Republican activists knocked on doors, made phone calls, and worked hard for President Trump’s reelection. In fact, we made 12 separate contacts with 3 million voters in the 70 days leading up to the November election.

We owe it to our voters to give them a reason to vote Republican going forward. A Legislative session has just begun, and our Republican delegates and voters gave us eight priorities, voted on at our convention this past summer, to officially support as a Party. The outcome of this session will determine if the voters decide the Republicans in the Texas Legislature are worth sending back.

There are some very important bills that have been filed and need to pass. However, the Legislative Priorities Committee of the State Republican Executive Committee is bound by our bylaws to only support bills that match the chosen priorities of our delegates. Those are: Election Integrity, Religious Freedom, Children and Gender Modification, Abolition of Abortion, Constitutional Carry, Monument Protection, School Choice for All, and Ban Taxpayer Funded Lobbying. We meet weekly to look at the filed bills and assess if they meet the priority language and vote on whether to support those bills. Due to events of this past extraordinary year, Chairman West has also added a committee to address Executive Overreach, so the Party will be supporting efforts for those bills as well.

As we have been reporting, what seems like a reasonable list includes many items that we have advocated for in previous legislative sessions but have not seen passed. We believe that it will take the voices and will of the people to convince our elected officials that these are non-negotiable items.

After a bill gets filed, it is assigned to a committee. This is one reason we have been so insistent about committee chairs being Republicans, since we hold the majority. We thank Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick, in charge of the Senate, for putting Republicans as chairs on all the Senate committees except for one. This is important because if a chair doesn’t want a particular bill to get to the floor for a vote, he or she can simply choose to not put it on the committee agenda. We like our chances on our Republican priorities better with Republican chairs. We await what Speaker Phelan will choose to do in the House. We fervently hope he will put Republicans on the committees, at least those to which he will assign our Legislative Priorities bills.

To follow the bills we are supporting on our priorities, please sign up for our Strategic Texas Activist Team. You will receive an email when bills are assigned to committee and the progress on them, including when they are up for a vote. To sign up, click here.

We have also added more information on our Texasgop.org website, under the drop-down menu tab #TXLege. Please check it out for directories, a template for writing your representatives, and more.

The Legislature is in recess now until 2pm on Feb. 9th. Please use this time to call, email, or visit with your representatives.

For God and Texas,

Jill Glover
SREC, SD 12
Chair, SREC Legislative Priorities Committee

This is obviously not looking good. I’ve been warning our readers, there is about to be a screw job session dropped on us the likes of which the world has never seen.

Why do you think the troops are there?

To quote Patrick Henry

These are the implements of war and subjugation; the last arguments to which kings resort. I ask gentlemen, sir, what means this martial array, if its purpose be not to force us to submission? Can gentlemen assign any other possible motive for it? Has Great Britain any enemy, in this quarter of the world, to call for all this accumulation of navies and armies? No, sir, she has none. They are meant for us: they can be meant for no other.

We are all struggling to accept what is happening. It’s here.

The government is openly corrupt and planning much, much worse abuse. It’s going to be to such a degree that they are simply lining up troops to guard the buildings where the screw jobs happen.

As was mentioned in Jill’s message, for years Republicans have had a list of simple agenda items for the legislature to pass, and these people simply refuse to do what they are elected to do, thinking themselves smarter than you on “how things really work” and passing whatever they themselves are interested in passing. As Jill aptly points out, Democrats always get their agenda moving forward and passed into law.

The patriots are outnumbered by the traitors 20 to 1

The patriots are outnumbered by the traitors 20 to 1

The most ominous line of Jill’s letter was this:

We owe it to our voters to give them a reason to vote Republican going forward.

I don’t know if the reader has looked around lately, but people are basically done with the Republican Party. Every post from the party has hundreds of comments from people saying they are finished with the GOP due to their cowardice and duplicitousness, and I think they mean it this time. Nobody can even tell you who these Republicans are representing. It’s literally a party filled with opportunist cowards in public service only to serve themselves.

Sure, if we get thousands of people to rally at the Capitol everyday for the next 4 months maybe we can get some things accomplished. But is that realistic? How long will we set these unrealistic goals for ourselves in terms of public involvement, and when our agenda doesn’t go anywhere we blame ourselves instead of the cowards casting the votes inside the Capitol?

Here’s the list of State Reps who voted to allow Democrats to chair House committees. (Every Democrat voted for this obviously)

Look, I have no idea why they did this.

Briscoe Cain stood up and bragged about himself for bit, and then said to vote against having all Republican chairs because that is how the federal government operates, and that Texas was somehow “better than” that without explaining what that even means.

This is an extremely bizarre point, but he states it like it’s a brilliant point and is met with a muted applause (from traitors, no doubt.) Perhaps Cain is unaware, but the government in Washington brutally and completely dominates the government in Austin. So I don’t even get what he’s trying to say.

Legendary traitor Jeff Leach also came out against having only Republicans control the legislature’s committees. He stood up, insulted Slaton, and proceeded to introduce a logical fallacy into the debate and confidently inquired if Slaton agreed with his random assertion.

The entire thing was truly one of the most bizarre things I’ve ever witnessed. This is something that only elected Republican traitors support, and written in-between the lines of Jill Glover’s statement is that this entire situation is unacceptable, because everyone knows Democrats will be put in charge of things now.

Based on the general feel for what’s going on, the party is in dire straits and could collapse soon. You may have noticed, but all the major county GOP chapters have canceled their big fundraisers for the first part of the year. They claim it’s because there’s a Covid “surge.” There is no Covid surge. If anything cases are trending down.

IMG_5080.jpeg

It’s likely that nobody is buying tickets to these fundraisers because, just like you see in the Facebook comments, and just like I’ve heard from my neighbors, they’re done with the Republican Party.

This is an emergency situation, quite frankly. Unless the GOP changes the rules where Allen West can unilaterally remove some of these elected people from the party, and I’m not entirely sure they can “technically” do that, we’re going to need a new party.

The primaries are rigged, the establishment is now openly working with Black Lives Matter and the corporate media, and it’s most likely going to be impossible for Christians or nationalists to get elected in the primaries. The establishment wing will just get the media to call people white nationalist skin supremacists, and that will be enough to destroy most people.

We need a George Washington-type figure to appear, to take control, and re-establish a new order. After that, they have to return the power to the people just like Washington did. While he can play an important role, I don’t think Allen West is that figure, unfortunately.

I wish I could tell you exactly how we get rid of all these problematic Republicans. I mean, I just gave you the list of people who we need to get out of office. It’s kind of up to you to spread this info now.

This is it. This is real life. None of these problems are going away. Your chains are being forged, Texans. Our only way off this ride is the same way the ride began — a Declaration of Independence.

A hard tyranny is being rolled out, and those of you reading this website are big problems for this new system. But God would not have put us here on earth, at this time of great uncertainty, if He did not believe in us and our ability to rely on Him and overcome any challenges we face.

It only gets weirder from here.

Hold on to your butts.
